Who can say NO to one of those healthy Sugar free Chocolate Popsicle? Only 4 ingredients YEAH!
Whatever it is winter or summer a chocolate Popsicle is always a delicious dessert no matter you are hungry or not! This chocolate Popsicle recipe is very easy to prepare: only 4-ingredients and no processed food or dairy or even sugar here! Only wholesome ingredients from protein loaded chia seeds, light unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder and natural stevia powder. SO don’t wait longer and make a batch of those babies!
Fudgy Chocolate Popsicle without sugar
Last week I shared with you my easy chocolate chia seed pudding recipe for breakfast. I told you I was also making chocolate Popsicle with the -almost- same recipe, did I??? SO as I did a batch of those cutties this week I thought it was the right time to share with you the secret to make an healthy chocolate Popsicle that no only kids love BUT also are dairy free and sugar free! The recipe starts basically like a chia seed pudding except you don’t leave the seeds rest – you don’t want to form a pudding here so you have to freeze the recipe as soon as it is ready to allow the seeds to migrate to the top and keep the chocolate Popsicle mixture creamy. Simple right?
Then, what I love the most about making Popsicles of any kind is the decoration part! I mainly use chocolate to decorate Popsicle because I have a chocolate lover team in my home but others options are yogurt -plain or dairy free coconut yogurt- cocoa butter, coconut cream.
How cute are those chocolate Popsicle decoration really? I had so much fun to create all those combination. Here you can see hazelnut + dried apricot raspberry + coconut, pistachio + raspberry, peanuts + cranberry & orange zest, puffed millet + cocoa nibs + raspberry. Actually, just add whatever you like on top to create color loaded chocolate Popsicle!
Now, tell me what is your favorite topping on Popsicle ?
- 1/3 cup Chia Seeds
- 1/4 cup. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp..Stevia I used Natvia
- 2 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup sugar free chocolate - I used Well naturally in NZ
- Raspberries , hazelnuts, penuts, almonds, dried apriot, goji berries, unsweetened dessicated coconut, puffed millet etc
In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, stevia and chia seeds.
Give a good stir and immediately fill the popsicles molds. Don't let the chia seeds suck up the liquid.
Freeze immediately for at least 6 hours or overnight.
The next day, place the pops mold under hot water to easily unmold the chocolate popsicle.
Dip into the sugar free chocolate and decorate with any toppings of your choice.
Freeze again for 1o minutes on a flat surface like a plate covered with parchment paper to let the chocolate shell harden.
Stroe up to a month in the freezer in a zip plastic bag or airtight plastic box.
