Tacos Seasoning

A simple Taco Seasoning recipe to accommodate all your favorite mexican food - tacos, fajitas, tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest grated
  • 1 teaspoon fresh red chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic clove chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Onion chopped

Instructions

  • Blend all the spice powders together.
  • Finely chop the red chili, onion, garlic and oregano.
  • Add them into the ground mix.
  • Wash an organic lemon.
  • Grated the zest of the lemon.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of grated zest to the seasoning.
  • Rub the taco filling with this seasoning powder.
  • Cover with a plastic wrap and put aside in the fridge for 1 hour until the spices release the flavour in your filling.
