Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus – Green Asparagus – Bacon – Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Pepper – Shredded Parmesan
Cut the sliced smoked bacon into 20 long thin strips.
Cut 1 ½ inches off the bottom of the asparagus. Keep the top part with the buds.
Lay the asparagus on a cooling rack. Spray them with olive oil and season with pepper and salt.
Wrap each asparagus with a strip of bacon. Start from the bottom and roll it to the top.
Bake the bacon-wrapped asparagus for 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 400°F (200°C).
Serve the bacon-wrapped asparagus with parmesan, fresh herbs, and heavy cream.
