In a small mixing bowl or ramekin, combine and stir all the Blackened Chicken seasoning spices. Set aside.
Season the free-range chicken breasts on both sides with Kosher salt and black pepper. Brush both sides of the breast with cooled, melted butter or olive oil.
Sprinkle a teaspoon of blackened seasoning on one side of the breast, press it, and rub it to stick to the chicken.
Warm a non-stick cast-iron skillet over medium-high with avocado oil. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook them for 1-2 minutes on both sides to sizzle the meat.
Place the skillet in the oven and keep cooking until the chicken is crusted. It takes 10-12 minutes to reach an internal temperature of 160°F (74°C).
