Easy Hazelnut Recipe
Chocolate Hazelnut Paste – raw Hazelnuts – Cocoa Powder – Erythritol or Sugar – Coconut Oil – Hazelnut Extract
Spread the raw hazelnuts on a baking sheet. Roast them for 8-10 minutes.
Pour the roasted hazelnuts in a clean towel. Shake, twist the towel to remove their skin.
Transfer the skinned hazelnuts to a bowl. Discard their skin.
Pour the roasted, skinned hazelnuts to the bowl of a stand mixer.
Process the hazelnuts at high speed for 3-5 minutes until they form a coarse paste.
Scrape the food processor and process again. Repeat a few times until a smooth butter forms.
Add coconut oil, hazelnut extract, erythritol, and cocoa powder to the hazelnut butter.
Process the ingredients one last time to form a chocolate hazelnut butter.
Transfer the Chocolate Hazelnut Spread to a mason jar.
